2-7 Triple Draw Lowball

2-7 Triple Draw is a lowball draw game where the lowest hand wins. Players have three opportunities to draw new cards. It uses a unique hand evaluation system: aces are high, straights and flushes count against you. The best possible hand is 2-3-4-5-7 (not a straight because 6 is missing).

The 2-7 Hand Evaluation

Key differences from standard lowball:

  • Aces are always HIGH (bad for low)
  • Straights count AGAINST you
  • Flushes count AGAINST you
  • Best hand: 2-3-4-5-7 (7-high, no straight)
  • 2-3-4-5-6 is a straight -- a terrible hand
